AYUDA! Sideport memory!

hola gente ! tengo un Biostar TA790GX A3+ y una XFX 9800GTX+ core edition
deberia de andar la sideport memory o es solo para VGAs ATI??
(Solo se activa cuando uso la integrada...)

Sideport memory is basically what ATI calls the dedicated frame buffer memory for the integrated graphics chip...

ahh...got it... ;-) so if i change my 9800gtx+ for an 4850(for example) i wont get any advantage(besides an "official" dragon platform)

Exactly!! It's only for the on-board GPU, all GPUs have their own memory dedicated. And the AMD Dragon platform is like a publicity, not really a working technology...
